  Bandit

If it wasn’t for Jason De Laforge, I never would have applied for a job at the bank. He’d worked his way into the fantasies of more women than just me though.

For myself, it all started a few years ago with a story on the evening news about a bank robbery in Wisconsin. That was the first time I laid eyes on him. That was the first time I felt myself truly mesmerized by the mere sight of a man, even if it was a grainy security camera image.

Unlike any other bank robber I’d ever heard of, he made no attempt to hide or disguise his face. No, he was making a statement. “This is me. I did this. Catch me if you can.”

He knocked over banks, one after the other, seemingly at random over the months and years. He didn’t stay in any one city or state and the police failed miserably to appear competent when it came to him. Their “working on some very promising leads” façade was wafer-thin.

The boy-band pictures on my bedroom wall suddenly seemed plain and I was first in line when the first Jason De Laforge artwork posters became available. The boy-bands came down, and Jason went up. He was even over my bed, staring down at me with that roguish charm while I touched myself under the covers.

I always let the covers “slip” to the side when I was about to climax. A nice girl wasn’t supposed to show off like that… I had to “trick” myself that it was an accident in the heat of the moment, but I wanted him to see what he did to me, how he made me feel.

There was nothing the police or the media could do to stop Jason’s cult-like following growing. The media quickly adopted the position of if-you-can’t-beat-‘em-join’em and the stories coming out of the news outlets started featuring more positive spins, with the disclaimer “We don’t endorse his career, but…”

They talked about his style, kind of a modernized 1920s gangster look. They interviewed the lucky female bank customers who Jason paid special attention to. It became his modus operandi to give the gift of the most passionate kiss of their life before he fled to his getaway car and miraculously eluded capture every single time.

I seethed with jealousy, but studied every word of those interviews like it was a religious text and I was seeking deeper meaning about the universe and my place in it. The woman always sounded like they were melting repeatedly every time they recalled being the focus of his attention for even that brief moment.

Maybe I was the only one who noticed it, I couldn’t be sure because I never dared mention it, but the women he kissed… they were all blonde. Like me. They were overwhelmingly at the petite end of the scale. Like me.

It seemed like fate had decreed that I was exactly his type, just like he was mine. I couldn’t be angry with him for kissing those other girls, he hadn’t even met me yet. If there was any justice in the world, fate would bring us together somehow.

So I decided to help fate out a little bit. As soon as I finished high school, I decided to take a gap year to work at a bank instead of travel before I went to college.

I took every shift I could. Jason was my reason for getting up in the morning, my reason for making sure I was immaculately groomed every day to walk that razor-thin edge between confident, sexy, young professional and office slut.

Looking like that ensured that my bosses let me work as often as I could, to make sure I was there for almost all the bank’s opening hours. More than one of them wanted me to accept a promotion to become their sexcretary, but I’d long promised myself to Jason.

My heart fluttered every time I heard he’d hit a bank closer to me than the last one, and sank every time his next appearance was further away. It was cruel for the universe to make me wait so long for what I wanted so badly.

However, on the slowest morning I’d ever seen since I started my job, fate decided to grant my one most cherished wish. It was 9:47am according to the clock, and I’d been working with the same customer since we opened.

She was a sweet little old lady who had come in with a huge jar of coins that her son had found in her attic. It was so big that she’d brought it in with one of those little carts with two wheels and a handle that every woman of her age must have delivered by the government or something.

Our security guard, Rex, had to lift the jar on to the counter for her before settling back into his chair and dozing off. The two of us were the only ones facing the public at the moment, the manager and a few paper-pushers were out back, ready to help out if we suddenly got busy before the lunchtime rush and other tellers were scheduled to arrive.

I was so absorbed in my job that I barely even registered when the next customer was waiting in line. The lady’s coins weren’t all American, and some were corroded beyond recognition, so it was too much for our machine to handle and we were having to add it all up by hand and separate out a couple coins she might like to talk to a collector about, while depositing the rest into her account.

It was only when she was wheeling her cart away that I caught a glimpse of the jawline that I knew better than any other peeking out from under the rim of a hat. My heart jumped into my throat as he stepped forward, keepi
ng the brim of his hat low until he reached the counter.

His suit jacket opened a little as he leaned forward to rest his elbows on the counter, revealing the kind of suspenders that he’d single-handedly brought back into style. With a theatrical slowness, he took his hat off, smoothed the brim, and set it down before hypnotising me with those cool blue eyes over his strong features and smiling at me in a way that seemed to attach little weights to my panties, tugging them downwards like magic.

“Hey there, pretty little lady,” he said, quietly, not wanting to disturb Rex’s slumber.

  “Hey,” I croaked.

“Do you know who I am?” he asked.

I nodded, my heart beating hard enough that it felt like it was affecting my balance as it boomed away in my chest. I could even feel it making my breasts wobble the tiniest bit. When he let his eyes glance down, I was sure the corners of his mouth rose even more when he saw the faint jiggle in the upper swells of my cleavage.

“Good. That’ll save me some time explaining a lot of what’s about to happen.”

Jason casually shrugged of his suit jacket, folding it up and putting it down next to his hat and revealing a holster with some kind of pistol in it, which he pulled out before talking quietly to me again.

“I want you to keep your hands where I can see them, head over there, and open the door so I can come back there with you.” He gestured with the muzzle at the security-coded door that separated the customers from us. “Don’t scream, don’t go for the panic button, don’t try anything. You may be too pretty to shoot, but Captain Sleepyhead over here probably likes his kneecaps the way they are, you dig?”

  “Yes, I understand,” I said.

Although Jason hadn’t yet killed anybody in any of his heists a few would-be-heroes had taken a bullet for their efforts, so I knew he wasn’t joking.

  “Go.”

I went to the security door and entered the code. It wasn’t open more than a crack before Jason yanked it all the way open and grabbed my arm, pulling me through and swinging me around at the same time so my back was pressed up against him.

He slipped an arm loosely around the front of my neck and whispered in my ear. The cold metal of the gun pressed against the other side of my head in stark contrast with the heat of his body and the warm puffs of air that tantalised my neck.

“We’re gonna stay real close, you and me,” he said. “You’re gonna be my arms and my sexy little informant and you’re gonna make sure we all get through this just fine.”

I could feel his power radiating against my back, my ass, and I swayed against him a little. He smelled like sandalwood, money and power with a faint edge of masculine musk that was turning me into putty.

Jason chuckled under his breath. “Why do I get the feeling you’ve been waiting for me?” he asked. His hand moved down to my hip, but he didn’t wait for an answer. “Prop the door open with that fire extinguisher.”

With a gulp, I went against everything I’d learned at my health and safety lecture during induction at the bank and bent at the waist to lift the little fire extinguisher off its hook on the wall and place it in front of the door. It was only barely heavy enough to stop the door from swinging closed again, and I paused, bent over like that as it wobbled, to make sure it wasn’t going to move.

“Mmm,” said Jason, with that hand still on my hip and my ass pressed against the front of his pants.

I slowly stood up again and looked up over my shoulder at him. Our eyes locked for a second and I licked my lips, thinking he was going to kiss me right there and then.

Instead, he moved is arm back up to hang loosely around my neck and steered me towards Rex. The bank’s security guard was sitting in his chair with his arms folded, head slumped to the side, and leg twitching as if he might be running in a dream.

Jason nudged Rex’s leg gently with his foot. “Wake up, sunshine, time for school,” he cooed.

“I don’t wanna…” Rex’s eyes opened a crack and then flared wide as he stared down the barrel of Jason’s gun.

  “Hands up.”

  Rex’s hands shot up.

  “Where’s your gun?” Jason asked.

  “I… I don’t have one.”

My brow furrowed in confusion. That was strange. The bank gave him one, so why didn’t he have it?

“Don’t fuck with me,” said Jason.

From its position high above his head, Rex pointed down at his empty holster.

“Well… that’s a first,” said Jason. “This bank really is the friendliest in America. Alright, partner, I want you to march your ass out back and we’re gonna get everybody out where I can see ‘em.”

Jason pulled me backwards to make room for Rex to walk through the propped-open security door ahead of us.

“I saw four other people come in here this morning. Where are they?” Jason asked.

“Office out back, through that door, and Mr. Bergstrom, the manager has his own office there,” I said.

“OK, big fella, I want you to open that door then get down on the ground with your hands behind your head, propping it open with said head. You got it?”

  “Yes sir,” said Rex.

  “Good.”

We followed Rex to the door, then stood to the side as he opened it.

“Hey Rex, what’cha doin’?” Tammy’s voice came through the door, then again as the security guard got down on the ground. “Rex? What’s going-”

Jason steered us forward, cutting Tammy’s words off as quickly as if her mouth had been erased from her face when she saw us. Miraculously, her mouth found its way home again after only a second, when she screamed at the top of her lungs.

“Shut the fuck up!” yelled Jason. “Hands up! Up, dammit!”

Hands shot up around the room, including Mr. Bergstrom, who had been leaning over behind Greg to help him out with something on his computer. Tammy looked like she was going to faint.

“Everybody keep your hands up and join this fine young man on the floor here, except for you, bossman.”

The paper-pushers filed out one by one and began getting down on their stomachs next to Rex. Beryl, who had been working at the bank since long before I was born, was struggling.

“Not you, ma’am,” said Jason. “If you can promise you won’t be any trouble to me, you can sit in that chair there and I won’t be any trouble to you. Deal?”

  “Alright. I promise,” said Beryl.

I pressed against Jason a little. Under the circumstances, you couldn’t properly call it a snuggle… but it was close. Jason advanced us on Mr. Bergstrom, while glancing through the door at the other four every now and then.

“You got that vault open?” Jason asked.

  “Y-yessir… but there’s not much in there… we’re only a s-small-”

“I know, that’s why I’m gonna take all of it. Lead the way, bossman.”

Mr. Bergstrom stepped into the vault and Jason gently pushed me in after him.

“The two of you work nice and quick, like a team, and stuff all that there money into those bags you’ve so nicely left there.”

Mr. Bergstrom held open the bag while I shoved more money than I would know what to do with into first one bag and then another. I held one bundle of cash in my hand and then did a double-take, looking over at Jason.

“This one’s got the dye pack,” I said.

“Dove, what the fuck?” said Mr. Bergstrom.

“Alright, you go ahead and keep that one, bossman. Dove, that’s a pretty name, you bring those bags over and we’ll head back to the front.”

Jason waited until I was close enough before spinning me around again and keeping me between him and Mr. Bergstrom. Jason waggled his gun in the direction of the door and we followed my manager out there, where everybody but Beryl was still on the ground.

“How’d you let this happen, Rex?” asked Mr. Bergstrom.

  “I forgot my gun sir… I’m sorry.”

  Mr Bergstrom sighed, defeated.

&n
bsp; “Get down on the ground with your troops, bossman,” said Jason.

We walked backwards toward the security door as Mr. Bergstrom complied, my hands at either side of me still carrying the bags of money. Jason put his gun away and with that hand now free, slid it across my lower navel, his little finger tracing along the waistband of my panties through my thin dress.

His other hand came up to my neck and he grabbed it, tilting my head back so his lips could brush against my skin. A spark of pleasure jolted me from between my legs and I shivered deliciously.

“I don’t suppose there’s much in the drawers today?”

  “A few pennies,” I breathed.

“Slow morning. Good, no more business to attend to before I taste this bank’s real treasure.”

Jason turned me around to face him and curled his hand around the back of my neck. Like a force of nature, he pulled our bodes together and my heart was back in my throat again, a flush of excitement rising on my chest.

His lips touched mine and one hand dropped to my ass, squeezing it at the same time as pulling me closer so I was left in no doubt about the hardening bulge in his pants. The force of his kiss fair took my breath away.

With my own hands occupied by the bags of money, I couldn’t have pushed his grip away from my ass even if I wanted to. The way our bodies pressed together so perfectly made it seem like we were made for each other, I almost felt like I was melting into him.

After what might have been a lifetime or two, he pulled away and the sound of our lips parting made me open my eyes dreamily and look up into his face. He was cool as ice, but I was hot and panting from just the feel of his lips on me.

“Damn, girl, you’re sexy enough to make me want to lift you up on that counter and have some fun until the police arrive. You’d like that, wouldn’t you?”

I blushed, not admitting anything but definitely having to concentrate to stop my feet from walking me over to the counter right away. Jason, bent down and I prepared myself for another once in a lifetime kiss, but instead he was reaching for the bags of cash in either of my hands.
